Custer Health Conducting Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing Event in Glen Ullin on September 22

Custer Health is conducting a drive-through COVID-19 testing event on Tuesday, September 22, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church parking lot in Glen Ullin. The event, at 203 E Ash Ave., will run from 2-4 p.m. unless testing supplies are exhausted sooner. The testing event is open to all ages, and is first-come, first-served.

“This testing event is in response to a recent spike of COVID-19 activity in Morton County,” said Custer Health Administrator Erin Ourada. “At this time, we have only planned for this one-time testing event in Glen Ullin. However, we also continue to provide weekly testing access in Mandan. If there are needs for future testing events, in any of the communities that Custer Health serves, we will certainly listen and consider all options.”

Individuals wanting to be tested will need to approach East Ash Avenue from the south via C Street South and enter the church parking lot from East Ash Avenue. After being tested, individuals will exit onto B Street South and travel north, away from the testing event.

Pre-registration for this event is available at https://testreg.nd.gov/. This process is not required to be completed in order to receive a test, but is recommended to speed up your overall testing event experience. Please complete the entire questionnaire. Pre-registration does not guarantee test availability. Testing events are subject to change.

There is no fee associated with the collection of samples and COVID-19 tests and an individual’s health insurance is not processed. Response times for receiving test results may vary, depending on the capacity of the testing lab. Positive test results will be shared within 24-72 hours, while negative results may take as long as five to seven days. Visit https://www.health.nd.gov/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/symptoms-testing-care/test-results for test result information.
