Custer Health Conducting Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing Event at Elgin’s Zion Lutheran Church on October 12

Custer Health is conducting a drive-through COVID-19 testing event on October 12 at Zion Lutheran Church in Elgin. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. CT (8 a.m. to 9 a.m. MT) unless testing supplies are exhausted sooner. The testing event is open to all ages, and is first-come, first-served.

Pre-registration for this event is available at https://testreg.nd.gov/. This process is not required to be completed in order to receive a test, but is recommended to speed up your overall testing event experience. Please complete the entire questionnaire. Pre-registration does not guarantee test availability. Testing events are subject to change.

Individuals wanting to be tested will need to first take Highway 49 onto the frontage road and drive to Third Avenue NE and enter the north end of the Zion Lutheran Church parking lot. After being tested, individuals will exit onto Second Avenue NE and travel away from the testing event.

There is no fee associated with the collection of samples and subsequent COVID-19 tests and an individual’s health insurance is not processed. Response times for receiving test results may vary, depending on the capacity of the testing lab. Positive test results will be shared within 24-72 hours, while negative results may take as long as five to seven days. Visit https://www.health.nd.gov/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/symptoms-testing-care/test-results for test result information.
