Custer Health is conducting a drive-through COVID-19 testing event on November 4 at Dacotah Speedway. The event will run from 1-2 p.m. unless testing supplies are exhausted sooner. The testing event is open to all ages, and is first-come, first-served.
Pre-registration for this event is available at https://testreg.nd.gov/. This process is not required to be completed in order to receive a test, but is recommended to speed up your overall testing event experience. Please complete the entire questionnaire. Pre-registration does not guarantee test availability. Testing events are subject to change. Please visit www.facebook.com/custerhealth or www.custerhealth.com prior to events to ensure there are no changes to the event.
Individuals wanting to be tested will need to approach Dacotah Speedway from the southeast on Longspur Trail. Longspur Trail is accessible by Redwing Drive and 32nd Ave SE, both off Memorial Highway in Mandan. After being tested, individuals will exit onto 24th Ave SE and travel north, away from the testing event. Testing team members will be working out of command caves, provided by Ahern Rentals.
There is no fee associated with the collection of samples and subsequent COVID-19 tests and an individual’s health insurance is not processed. Response times for receiving test results may vary, depending on the capacity of the testing lab. Positive test results will be shared within 24-72 hours, while negative results may take as long as five to seven days. Visit https://www.health.nd.gov/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/symptoms-testing-care/test-results for test result information.
